Is this your first horse riding experience?
You couldn't make a better choice: a riding lesson and horseback ride, for a carefree first time in the saddle. In the company of a riding guide, you will learn the basics of the discipline and ride for 1 hour against the backdrop of the Majella National Park.
An activity lasting a total of 1 hour and 45 minutes, in the heart of Abruzzo's "green lung"!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Pratola Peligna (AQ). We will be welcomed at the stables by the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure in the saddle!
Once all participants have gathered, we will head to the training ground where we will meet the horses. We will proceed with the saddling up and the riding lesson will begin, during which we will learn the basics of the discipline for a carefree first horse riding experience. This first part will last approximately 30 minutes.
This will be followed by our horseback ride: we will follow a mainly flat path along the Sagittario river and enter the woods of the Majella National Park, the 'green lung' of Abruzzo. Along the way at the foot of Mount Morrone, we will also spot the Orsa Castle.
We will finally return to the meeting point. The horse ride will last 1 hour; the total experience will last 1 hour and 45 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 14 and up. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the riding school by an adult to sign a release form.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate in the activity.
This experience is of an easy level and suitable for first-time horse riders.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed when a minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
Any accompanying persons can wait in the riding hall where a clubhouse with meeting point is set up; dogs on a leash are permitted in the riding hall.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
