Full description
Get ready to hold the helm in your hands. Yes, you read that right!
By choosing our sailing day, you will take part in a sailing lesson: you will enjoy sailing in the beautiful natural setting of Lake Garda and actively participate in life on board, as a member of a real crew.
All aboard, the sailing is about to begin!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before 09:30 at the meeting point in Torri del Benaco (VR). We will be welcomed by thesailing instructor on board his racing sailboat model Asso 99!
Once all participants have finished boarding, we will set sail to discover Lake Garda. Depending on the best conditions of the day, we will sail to one of the following destinations Isola del Garda, on which there is a scenic 18th century villa reminiscent of the more famous Doge's Palace in Venice, or Punta San Vigilio, where there is a luxurious structure that once hosted Charles and Diana of the British royal family!
The scenery will be framed by Monte Baldo and Monte Pizzoccolo, known sympathetically as 'Napoleon's Nose'; with a clear sky,Adamello and Sirmione can also be seen. And, in the summer period, at least two swimming stops in this beautiful natural setting are also planned.
During the experience, a sailing lesson will take place: the instructor will teach us how to rig the boat, prepare the sails, steer the boat and tack by moving the sails. We will be able to actively participate in life on board, like a real crew!
We will finally return to the meeting point in Torri del Benaco at around 17:00. The experience will last a total of 7½ hours.
