Why do we like Ostia Lido so much? Because here the sea can be reached directly from the centre of Rome!
And it is precisely in one of the best beach resorts on the coast that our private SUP lesson takes place: an instructor will be on hand to teach you a new water discipline or advise you on how to improve your technique.
A 2-hour experience, on a board and with paddle in hand!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Ostia Lido (RM). I, your SUP instructor, will be there to welcome you!
On your arrival I will hand over theequipment and provide you with all the information you need to enjoy this experience without any worries. The lesson will take place partly on land and partly in the water depending on your level of experience.
If you are a beginner: you will get to know and use the SUP equipment correctly, recognise winds and currents; in the water, with my support, you will try paddling in a sitting, kneeling and standing position.
If you are an intermediate: you will improve your posture on the board, your paddling technique and try to increase your speed.
All in the setting of one of the best establishments in Ostia Lido, characterised by a scenic lawn. And that's not all: while paddling, you may also spot the famous Kursaal Trampoline, made famous by numerous films.
The private SUP lesson will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 6; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or have a signed release form.
Swimming skills are required to participate in this activity.
No experience is required to participate in this activity.
Other information
The experience is available from January to December.
The experience takes place subject to weather and sea conditions at the organiser's discretion; the sea must be flat for this activity to take place, so you will be informed of the possibility by your guide.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
There is a changing room with a shower on site; there are no lockers but you can leave your personal belongings for safekeeping upon request.
The package includes an annual membership card allowing free access to the bathing establishment from May to September.
