Full description
Discover wing foil with a one-hour lesson in Gallipoli. The instructor organises customised lessons based on your learning speed. During the 60-minute lesson there is a first part on land and a second part in the water.
You will learn how to grip the sail and how to stand on the board, moving in absolute freedom to take advantage of the wind and hover almost above the water.
After a bit of theory and practice on land, you will enter the sea first kneeling on the board and then standing up. You will thus live the unique experience of feeling almost like a bird soaring freely, moving your wing to exploit the propulsive force of the wind.
What we will do
We meet with the instructor in Gallipoli. The lesson is tailored to our learning abilities and always includes a first part on the beach and a second part in the water. We will thus become familiar with the wing, whose shape is modelled on that of seagulls' wings, capable of flying for hours aided by the wind.
The instructor will teach us how to manoeuvre the wing, which is not anchored to the board and is particularly light and manoeuvrable, thanks also to the absence of rigid components.
We will learn, for example, how to grip it correctly using the handles. And it is precisely the handling of the wing foil that is the most exciting aspect of wing foil, because we will be able to move in absolute freedom thanks to the lack of anchoring to the board.
After practising on land, we bring our equipment into the water and get on the board. We will first assume a kneeling position and, as soon as we are confident, we can stand up to try gliding over the water. We will then experience an hour of adrenaline and fun as we experience the thrill of flying over the sea like a seagull.
The lesson lasts one hour.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 6 years old and up. No special technical skills or abilities are required, just knowing how to swim.

Lessons take place from June to September, subject to weather and sea conditions.
Important: contact the instructor the day before the lesson to inform him/her of your height so that the instructor can prepare all the necessary equipment.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund!
