What better place than Casa Setaro to enjoy an experience that will make your taste buds vibrate ?
In this winery on the slopes of Vesuvius, a sensory journey through rows of indigenous vineyards awaits you, culminating in a tasting lunch or dinner.
You will in fact enjoy a complete menu composed of 4 courses paired with as many glasses of house wines: not a simple meal, but an explosion of flavours!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at Casa Setaro in Trecase (NA), in the splendid setting of the Vesuvius National Park. We will be welcomed by a guide who will introduce us to the sustainable philosophy of this winery.
We will begin with a walk through the vineyard, walking between rows of vines . Our guide will reveal how, thanks to this cultivation technique, the vines are able to grow luxuriantly on sand and lapilli soil, preserving rare native varieties such as Caprettone.
We will then continue with a visit to the winery, a magical place carved into the volcanic rock formed during the last eruption of Vesuvius. Here we will explore the fermentation and ageing areas, admiring the oak barrels and terracotta amphorae, while the guide will explain the meticulous winemaking process that leads to the birth of the wines, including the famous Lacryma Christi.
The highlight will be lunch or a gourmet dinner at the winery's restaurant overlooking the sea and Vesuvius. We will be seated in a picturesque location, surrounded by vineyards, to enjoy a full menu (varying according to the season) that includes a welcome entrée, an appetiser, a first course and a dessert. Each course will be expertly paired with a dedicated glass of wine (for a total of 4 glasses) , chosen to enhance the flavours of the territory and the highest quality local raw materials.
The experience will last about 3 hours in total.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
