Why choose between nourishing the spirit or the body?

At the Luteraia winery, between a plate of homemade pasta and wines energised with crystals, doing both is easier (and tastier) than you think!

Take part in this sensory lunch in Montepulciano: a total experience of 2½ hours in which you will visit the winery and the vineyards and then conclude with a typical lunch and an interactive sensory game with Lemuria, the 'magic' wine that changes flavour depending on who is holding it in their hands!

What we will do

The appointment is scheduled 10 minutes before the start time at the Luteraia winery in Montepulciano (SI). We will begin the activity with an exploration of the holisticvineyard, tracing the history of the estate's three historic vineyards and enjoying special surprise tastings directly between the rows.

We will then move on to the cellar premises for a guided tour, where we will learn more about the basics of the Indigo Philosophy as applied to the production of sensory wines. We will be shown how the grapes interact with the frequencies of selected stones and minerals to enhance the harmony of each wine.

At the end of the visit, we will be seated under the garden gazebo or inside the farmhouse (depending on the weather) for lunch. The menu includes a Tuscan hors d'oeuvre composed of a variety of mixed bruschetta, vegetables from the garden, genuine mixed meats, local cheeses and fresh fruit in season, followed by a first course of traditional local pasta, with homemade handmade pasta, such as traditional pici or lasagne with meat sauce.

During lunch we will face a guided tasting of 4 different wines linked to specific energy properties:

• Losee' Rosato IGT (energised in rose quartz crystals to give love)
• Luteraia Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG (worked with red obsidian to instil courage)
• Luteraia No bile Riserva DOCG (with red obsidian to recall strength)
• Lemuria Indaco Sensoriale IGT (dynamised in amethyst quartz to give well-being) .

With the latter, we will embark on a true interactive sensory journey, testing unusual food pairings and experimenting with glass swapping: we will discover that wine adapts from person to person, changing flavour on the palate and nose depending on who is tasting it.

The experience will end after about 2 hours and 30 minutes .

Who it is aimed at

The experience is recommended for participants aged 18 and over, as wine tasting is reserved for adults only. Participants under the age of 14 participate free of charge if accompanied by an adult.

Due to the structural characteristics of the winery and the farmland, the activity is not accessible by wheelchair and pushchair.

Other information

The experience is available all year round with a minimum number of 2 people.

The winery has free parking on site. The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport; arrival by car or taxi from the Chiusi or Chianciano Terme stations is recommended.

Four-legged friends are welcome in the lunch and wine-tasting area, but are not allowed inside the winery for hygiene reasons.
