If you think happiness has no taste, you probably haven't yet tried the traditional cuisine of Torchio in Montecalvo Irpino.
Amidst home-made cured meats and dishes that follow the rhythm of the seasons, a lunch designed for those who want to rediscover the pleasure of being together without too many frills, but with plenty of taste, awaits you.
A culinary journey in which you will savour traditional Irpinian dishes accompanied by 2 glasses of selected wine!
What we will do
The appointment is at 13: 00 at the farm in Montecalvo Irpino (AV), immersed in the greenery and tranquillity of the Irpinian landscape. The staff will welcome us and introduce us to the philosophy of the farm, where what arrives on the plate is the direct fruit of work in the vegetable garden and livestock farming.
We will begin our journey by taking a seat in the farm's dining room. We will begin our gastronomic journey with a rich array of house antipasti: we will taste the cold meats produced directly on the farm, accompanied by fresh ricotta, local cheeses and various seasonal dishes, such as pizza contadina, potato crocché or grilled vegetables.
We will then continue with a traditional first course, such as scialatielli, fusilli or handmade ravioli, served with fresh ingredients such as asparagus, artichokes or courgettes, depending on the season. To end on a sweet note, we will enjoy a homemade dessert, from orange cake to the classic babbo, followed by coffee and a house bitter to end the day on a high note.
During lunch, we will taste 2 glasses of wine chosen to enhance the flavours of the menu: a fresh white to accompany the starter and a structured red to enhance the first course. It will be a moment to discuss production techniques and the botanical wealth of the area, discovering the unique character of local products.
The experience will last about 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone. The wine tasting is reserved for adults only. A dedicated children's menu (including pasta, sliced meats, schnitzel, dessert) is available for €25.
The venue is wheelchair accessible.

The experience takes place all year round every Sunday.
Options are available for people with coeliac disease, vegetarianism or food intolerances: menus are not standard and depend on seasonality, so please contact the establishment at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to communicate your needs.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
