Motorboat tour between Portovenere and Cinque Terre

There is nothing more exciting than experiencing the wonders of Liguria from the sea. Then take advantage of this one-day tour on board the Lord Byron motor vessel, ready to reveal Portovenere and the Cinque Terre to you from an unprecedented point of view.

It will be an opportunity to visit the main beauties of this stretch of the Ligurian coast, famous throughout the world for its colourful, picturesque villages and its rugged coastline, dominated by green reliefs that plunge steeply into the crystal-clear water.

What we will do

Departure is at 10:00 a.m. from the pier in La Spezia, from which we will set off on board the Lord Byron motorboat, a safe and modern vessel, equipped with all the main comforts, including a toilet, air conditioning, and wi-fi connection.

The first stop on the Ligurian waters will be Portovenere, famous for its picturesque views and its characteristic position, stretching out towards the sea. Here we will have about an hour and a half to visit an evocative natural cavity, called Byron's Grotto in honour of the great English Romantic poet who loved these places very much.

Next, the motorboat will take us into the Cinque Terre National Park, where we will discover the splendid villages of Monterosso and Vernazza, known throughout the world. In Monterosso we will stop for about 2 hours, during which we can stop in one of the little restaurants there or have a packed lunch on the beach (lunch not included).

Afterwards, we will head for the third and final stop, Vernazza. Here we will have another hour and a half to explore the characteristic village. At the end of the visit, we will return to the port of La Spezia, where this exciting adventure will come to an end.

The activity lasts about 8 hours.

Who it is aimed at

This motorboat tour is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children up to 5 years of age have free access to the experience.

The tour is wheelchair-accessible.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time.

The activity is available from Tuesday to Sunday, April to November, weather permitting.

During the breaks on land, participants will be able to move independently, following the set departure times to the next stage. For those who wish, there will be the possibility of having a tour guide in French, English and Italian for visits to Portovenere, Monterosso and Vernazza, at an extra cost of €10 per person, to be paid on site. The motorship Lord Byron is a modern vessel measuring 27.30 metres long and equipped with an on-board toilet, air conditioning, wi-fi, and an on-board bar-restaurant. The motorboat is accessible by buggy or wheelchair, provided they are foldable. Nevertheless, it may be difficult to visit the villages of Riomaggiore, Monterosso and Vernazza by pram or wheelchair due to their conformation.

Pets are allowed, even without a muzzle.
