Full description
Ride a mountain bike in the splendid Ogliastra region, a paradise of unspoilt nature on the central-eastern coast of Sardinia.
Have fun discovering the most suggestive scenic spots, riding along nature trails in the Bari Sardo and Cardedu area, climbing the slopes of Monte Ferru or reaching the natural pools of Coccorrocci.
A perfecttwo-wheel adventure for nature lovers who want to discover the most authentic side of this area of Sardinia.
What we will do
We will meet near the Planargia beach in Bari Sardo(NU). Once we have formed the group and handed over our mountain-bikes with helmets, the guide will hold an introductory briefing and we will be ready to set off.
We will ride into the wild territory of Ogliastra and along the way we will be able to observe some of the main localities of this land where sea and mountains meet. Between one ride and the next we will glimpse the Tower of Bari Sardo, a characteristic medieval construction on the sea.
Depending on the route, selected by the guide according to the day, the conditions, and the level and demands of the group, we can explore the surroundings of Bari Sardo and ride along the coast to the Coccorocci beach, with its natural pools where a stop for a swim is not to be missed. Or we can climb the paths of theTeccu Plateau and enjoy a splendid panoramic view and then descend to Lido Orrì, where we will cycle along the seafront of a beach so long that you will not see its boundaries, immersed in the crystal-clear waters.
The activity will last about three hours in total and will end with the return to the starting point.

This activity is open to cyclists of all levels, aged 10 and up.

This activity is bookable from May to October and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
