If you have already enjoyed the wonders of Naples in the sunlight, perhaps it is time to let yourself be seduced by the nuances that only a night ride can offer.
Join us for a horseback ride under the stars and discover the Vesuvius National Park. Not only will you spend an hour in the company of an extraordinary animal, but you will also be able to observe from afar the vibrant city illuminated by the evening lights.
What are you waiting for? Experience the mountains in a whole new way, feeling like a knight of darkness exploring unknown territories.
What we will do
We will meet around 9.30 p.m. at the ranch in Somma Vesuviana (NA). We will be welcomed by the equestrian guide, who will show us the ranch and accompany us to the stable to get to know our four-legged companion.
Before riding, we will learn how to ride a horse, how to approach the animal by empathising with it, and how we should behave during the ride.
We will learn the basics of American riding and, after a few practice rides, we will go out for a walk. We will climb up to admire the Vesuvius National Park in the moonlight and, in the distance, the city of Naples with its lights illuminating the coast.
After a walk of about 5 km, which is easy and suitable for everyone, we will head back to the ranch to disembark and say goodbye to our guide. The activity lasts about an hour in total.

The activity is aimed at everyone from 14 years of age. No horse riding experience is required.

The activity takes place all year round, every day.
The ranch cannot be reached by public transport.
Insurance is included in the fee and is valid for one year. To register, you must provide the guide with the required information well in advance (you will receive his contact details by e-mail with your booking confirmation).
American-style riding is adopted, while the gait will be predominantly at a walking pace.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
