Want a unique experience? This night horseback ride is worthy of a true king!
Set off from the province of Turin and ride along the Valchiusella trails through which Napoleon Bonaparte and his troops also passed. Ride at the pass for 1 hour and discover many curiosities about the history of the area thanks to the equestrian guides who will accompany you.
Then end on a high note with a fantastic farmhouse dinner!
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Lugnacco (TO), where the equestrian guides who will accompany us during the experience will be waiting for us. After an initial welcome, we will have a briefing of about 15 minutes to familiarise ourselves with our horse, saddle it and learn how to give it a few simple commands.
Having put on our head torches (included), we will be ready to set off on our night ride. We will move along theroute followed by Napoleon Bonaparte and his troops to reach the Chiusella river, near which the French fought and won a battle against the Holy Roman Empire.
While our guides (one per participant) tell us some anecdotes about the history of the place, we will proceed through beautiful chestnut groves and try to spot foxes, badgers and other nocturnal animals. Finally, we will arrive at the Nonani chapel, dating back to 1620. Here too, the guides will regale us with some curious anecdotes.
The route will end at the starting point and will take about 1 hour. At that point, it will be time to refresh ourselves with an agritourism dinner (included). The menu will be inspired by the local culinary tradition and will vary depending on the season. It could include potato salami, boiled meat, mushrooms, fresh vegetables and bagna càuda.

The activity is suitable from the age of 8.
A maximum weight of 120 kg is required to participate. Please contact the organisers in advance to communicate your weight and height.

The activity is available all year round.
English riding will be used during the experience. The equestrian guides will lead the walkers on foot.
At the end of the experience, a dinner will be served on the activity organisers' farm. The menu will change depending on the period and availability. To report allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements , please contact the organisers at the contact details on your booking confirmation email. No alternatives for coeliacs are available.
Escorts with dogs on a leash are allowed.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport and there is a free, secure car park nearby.
