You've never seen a starry sky like this in Rome . And indeed, you have to come to the Castelli Romani Park to admire it!
Take part in our night horseback ride: an equestrian guide will accompany you along a partially wooded route, completely immersed in nature. In addition to shooting stars, you may spot several cute forest animals!
A 1-hour, moonlit experience.
What we will do
The meeting point is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Rocca di Papa (RM) . To welcome us to the riding school we will find our equestrian guide!
We will then collect our horse and ride together for a short stretch on the ground to gain confidence. It will then be time to get on the saddle: the guide will help us adjust the stirrups and we'll set off along the trails around the riding school; we'll be accompanied by the guide riding his horse, which is constantly at our disposal.
We will embark on a mixed trail on asphalt, dirt and wooded terrain. Above us a memorable starry sky: a more unique than rare event not far from Rome, where the absence of pollution allows us to fully enjoy the magnificence of the night. During the walk it will also be possible to hear or spot the company of squirrels, foxes and other friendly forest animals. The guide will lead the group either on horseback or on foot, depending on the participants' needs; the horseback walk takes place at the pass.
We will then return to the meeting point for a 45-minute horse ride and a total experience of 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone from the age of 4; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult in the riding hall but are not required to be accompanied during the walk.
Experience is required to participate in this activity: it is required to have participated in at least 1 horseback ride as the guide will not lead any participants on the ground. Experienced riders are invited to contact the guide at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to request in advance to take part in the walk at a pace other than walking at the guide's discretion.
The maximum weight limit for participating in this activity is 100 kg.
Other information
The experience takes place from May to September.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.
There is a picnic area where you can stop after your walk.
Any accompanying persons may stay at the riding stables and may bring along a dog if agreed in advance with the organiser by contacting him at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
