Full description
Legends say that the full moon drives one crazy.... So if you've got an uncontrollable urge to embark on a night-time rafting trip on the Dora Baltea, it's actually all under control!
In Ivrea, a 1 hour 20 minute descent awaits you, amidst waves and legends, under the reflection of the moon. Paddling in the middle of the town in the company of a guide, you will defy the current and experience an adventure that will make your heart beat faster than you can possibly imagine!
What we will do
The rendezvous is half an hour after sunset at the meeting point in Ivrea (TO), where we will receive the necessary equipment for the descent.
After changing and putting on the wetsuit, we will listen to an introductory briefing by our guide, to learn basic paddling techniques and safety rules.
Once we are ready, we will board a shuttle that will take us to our starting point on the river. In the silence of the evening, we will board the dinghy and our moonlit adventure will begin!
We will sail on the Dora Baltea illuminated by the moonlight, gliding through bends and rapids, while the guide will tell us stories and legends of the river and the surrounding landscape.
Along the way, we will be able to admire the imposing silhouette of Ivrea castle and the profile of the mountains of the Valle d'Aosta, enjoying an intimate and suggestive atmosphere that only the night can provide.
After about 1 hour and 20 minutes of descent, we will reach the arrival point at our base.
The entire experience will last approximately 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 6 years of age; children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult during the experience.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for a first rafting experience.
Basic water skills are required to participate.

The activity takes place from April to September on the dates indicated in the calendar and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 6 participants and suitable weather conditions.
Caution! The use of eyeglasses is not recommended during the activity, so contact lenses are recommended.
The rafting centre has changing rooms with showers and toilets. Personal belongings can be stored in a guarded common storage room.
Any accompanying persons can wait at the meeting point where there is a playground, an equipped outdoor area and a bar.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.
