Have you ever slept under a quilt of stars?
In Val di Gresta, at an altitude of 1, 000 metres, you can spend a romantic night in StarsBOX, a small wooden house with an openable roof from which you can watch the starry sky. The accommodation is located in a clearing in the woods of Trentino-Alto Adige, a starting point for mountain hikes.
Your stay includes a welcome drink and a homemade breakfast. Sweet dreams!
What we will do
Check-in is from 3 p. m. at the accommodation in Ronzo-Chienis (TN). On arrival, you will be welcomed by the staff, who will accompany you along the path leading to the StarsBOX, set in the woods and about 100 metres from the main building.
Inside you will find a comfortable double futon with linen, towels and duvet (in the winter season) . There are electrical sockets and an armature warmer that makes the StarsBox comfortable even in winter.
The bathroom is located in the main building and includes a toilet, shower, washbasin, courtesy kit and hairdryer. Outside the StarsBOX is a relaxation area with a small table and benches, where aperitifs and breakfast are served in fine weather (in the colder months, they are served in the hotel restaurant) .
During your stay you can explore the hiking trails that start directly from the clearing and immerse yourself in the Val di Gresta, the heart of the Garda Trentino organic district. With a bit of luck, you may even spot squirrels and roe deer from your StarsBOX!
Included in your stay you will be offered a welcome drink of Trento DOC wine and a board of local products. The hotel restaurant is open for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays, and for lunch on Sundays, with an à la carte menu of organic and zero-km products.
In the evening, the opening roof of the StarsBOX will allow you to admire the stars from the comfort of your bed: a purely romantic experience.
Waking up will taste like a sweet home-made breakfast, with products such as croissants, yoghurt, muesli, bread and jam, coffee, cappuccino and juice.
Check-out is by 10 a. m.
Who it is aimed at
The StarsBox is designed to accommodate 2 adults, with the possibility of adding a child up to the age of 10 who will sleep in the parents' bed at no additional cost (to be reported after booking confirmation) .
The accommodation is not suitable for persons with mobility problems.
Other information
It is available all year round, every day except Monday and Tuesday. Check-in is from 15: 00 and check-out by 10: 00. Please communicate your arrival time to the contact details given in your booking confirmation email.
Toilets are located in the main building, approximately 100 metres from the StarsBOX. When possible they are reserved exclusively for the StarsBOX, but in case of high occupancy they may be shared with other guests.
If you have any food allergies or intolerances, please inform the organiser after booking.
Small dogs are allowed, subject to prior notice after booking confirmation.
The nearest bus stop is a 15-20-minute walk from the property, in the centre of Ronzo-Chienis. Free parking is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
