Have you always wanted to experience an adventure on board an electrifying off-road vehicle?
With the 1.5-hour tour to the Alcantara Gorges, you can discover one of the most evocative places in the Sicilian hinterland and reconnect with nature on an exciting and fun ride on board a Suzuki Samurai 4x4.
You will follow theAlcantara and the Zavianni torrent, moving through volcanic canyons and breathtaking scenery. So, are you ready for anunforgettable experience?
What we will do
The meeting point is in Fondaco Motta (ME), near the Alcantara Gorges. Here we will meet the expert instructor who will accompany us for the duration of our tour, leading the group.
After a briefing on the activity, we will board the off-road vehicle and set off to discover the Alcantara Gorge, a marvellous canyon just a stone's throw from Taormina, Giardini Naxos .
On the way we will admire the beautiful landscape surrounding the Alcantara valley and the Zavianni torrent, a tributary of the Alcantara river. Together we will climb the surrounding mountains and enjoy the breathtaking view.
The excursion lasts approximately 1 hour.

This activity is suitable for everyone over the age of 16. The route is of an easy level and does not present great driving difficulties.

This activity can be booked from April to October, subject to the guide's availability.
Important: the €150 fee includes the guided tour and the hire of a four-seater Suzuki Samurai 4x4 for 1 driver and 3 passengers. The centre has 4 jeeps for a total of 15 participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
