Full description
Climb aboard a Land Rover Defender and set off to discover the Gallurese hinterland for abreathtaking excursion around San Teodoro.
After reaching Monte Nieddu on board the off-road vehicle, a trekking tour awaits you to waterfalls and natural pools, amidst the unspoilt nature that characterises this area of Sardinia.
On the way back, the experience ends with a Sardinian aperitif of pecorino cheese, carasau bread and red wine. What are you waiting for to join us?
What we will do
We will meet at Fonte Aresula, in Buddittogliu, a hamlet of San Teodoro (SS). After meeting the guides and holding an introductory briefing, we will board the off-road vehicle and be ready to set off on the tour around San Teodoro.
We are in Gallura, a renowned area in the north of Sardinia, famous for its dream beaches. But the hinterland is no less impressive and with this excursion we will be able to discover it! We will drive up Monte Nieddu and, having reached the summit, descend for a walk.
We will walk along paths in the midst of nature, until we reach the granite hollows that turn into veritable natural pools in summer. Weather permitting, we will stop for a swim! After the 1-km trekking route, we will return to the valley by jeep and continue the tour around San Teodoro.
The excursion includes a Sardinian aperitif offered by the guides: pecorino cheese, carasau bread, sausage and red wine to toast all together in joy! The activity lasts 4 hours in total.

This activity is available from April to October and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum of 4 participants.
It is possible to request a pick-up service in the area of San Teodoro centre at an extra price of 5€ per person or in the area of Monte Petrosu and Budoni at an extra price of 10€ per person (to be paid on site).
The off-road vehicle is driven by a professional driver. Driving by participants is not permitted.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
