A quality extra virgin olive oil is recognisable. And so does a good organic wine. Word of the Tili family!
Take part in our food and wine experience at this renowned winery in the province of Perugia: learn more about organic farming and wine-growing, savouring with smell and taste the oil and wine produced on the hills surrounding Assisi.
An activity lasting a total of 1 ½ hours, discovering the area and its products!
What we will do
The appointment is at the selected time at the meeting point at Tili Vini in Capodacqua (PG), in the beautiful natural setting of the hills bordering Assisi.
Upon arrival, we will be welcomed by a member of the agricultural company who will guide us in the discovery of this organic reality. The experience will begin with a walk through the olive grove, where a real olive growing lesson will take place to discover the organic cultivation system. Asensory analysis will then take place, during which we will learn how to recognise an organic extra virgin olive oil by smell and taste, and then 'stripparlo' it with the appropriate glass!
The experience will continue in the tasting room of the winery with thesensory analysis of wines: we will taste 5 glasses of organic Assisi DOC and Umbria IGT wines accompanied by bruschetta topped with a variety of sauces, a small platter of cold cuts and cheeses, and traditional sweets. At the end of the activity we will receive anapprentice taster's certificate!
The oil tasting will last about 30 minutes; the wine tasting will last about 1 hour. The experience will last a total of 1½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is recommended for ages 18 and over. Any minors must be accompanied by an adult. Children aged 0 to 4 years participate free of charge.
The wine tasting is reserved for participants aged 18 and over. Any accompanying paying underage participants will be served a non-alcoholic drink with accompanying food.
The facility is accessible by wheelchair or pushchair.

Attention! The walk through the olive grove will only take place when weather and terrain conditions permit, at the guide's discretion.
The experience takes place all year round and is confirmed on reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.

The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
