One-day boat tour to Asinara

Enjoy a wonderful day by boat discovering Asinara, the island on the north-western tip of Sardinia characterised by unspoilt nature and fascinating ancient buildings.

From a hamlet of Stintino we will set sail in a fully equipped motor boat to the small beach of Spalmadori, Cala Reale and Punta degli Inglesi. All together we will have to make an arduous choice for our last stop: the natural pools of Fornelli or the Pelosa? Either way, we will not be disappointed!

You won't be able to resist the temptation to dive into the clear blue waters that bathe the island, but after so much exercise you will need to recover your energy. That is why we will serve you a tasty mid-morning aperitif!

What we will do

The meeting point is 15 minutes before 9:30 a.m. at the Stintino Marina. Here the motor boat will already be ready to welcome you on board, so when you arrive you can already make yourself comfortable and prepare for departure.

We will sail to the first stop on our tour: the small beach of Spalmadori, where we can take a dip in the deep blue waters that fade to green as we approach the shore.

We set off again and head towards Fornelli, where we will have the opportunity to go ashore to stop and rest a while on the beach between swims.

Once back on board, I will take the helm again to lead you in front of Punta degli Inglesi, a bay in front of which I will serve you a delicious aperitif (included in the participation fee) that includes Sardinian sausage and cheese to accompany a glass of Vermentino. You can also eat your packed lunch here, surrounded by a breathtaking panorama.

In the early afternoon you will have about an hour for another stop ashore at Cala Reale. Here you can visit the sea turtle recovery centre and take a walk along the roadstead or visit the recently renovated Austro-Hungarian church and chapel.

We will then turn south for more dips in the Piscine Naturali di Fornelli (Fornelli Natural Pools ) or at La Pelosa beach in Stintino (we will choose our last stop together!).

After that, it will be time to return to port, where we will disembark at around 17:00.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is aimed at everyone over the age of 3.

Other information

The tour takes place daily from mid-April to October.

The boat available for the tour is a 7.5-metre motor boat that can accommodate up to eight people in addition to the captain. It is equipped with two awnings, cushions, a large sundeck, a freshwater shower, a mini-bar (with an icebox available to keep drinks cool), a main engine and an electric motor, with which you will navigate within the park. There is no toilet on board, but you will be able to go to the bathroom during the two shore stops.

If you have special dietary requirements or would like to request a vegetarian or vegan aperitif, you can inform the captain by contacting him at the contact details you will find in the booking confirmation email.

Each bathing stop will last approximately 20/30 minutes.

The optional visit to the sea turtle recovery centre costs €2.50 per person on site.

Dogs are not allowed on board because they are not allowed inside the Park.
