Full description
Orienteering has very ancient origins: from primitive man, who used the art of orienteering to procure food, to modern times, with its navigational tools such as the compass, the sextant for sailors, and the mapping of the land, right up to the present day with the GPS.
We organise this wonderful outdoor activity in the Sibillini Mountains, in a natural environment at an altitude of 1000 metres, learning the ancient art of orientation using a compass and map.
What we will do
The appointment is in Norcia, in the province of Perugia, where we will be welcomed by the qualified guide who will accompany us during the experience.
Before we begin our activity in the Sibillini Mountains, the guide will provide us with all thenecessary equipment (compasses, maps, scoreboards and lanterns) and introduce us to the ancient discipline of orienteering. We will learn together the meaning of orienteering and how to use navigation tools. We will also learn the technique of map orientation with magnetic north, azimuth and how to read a map.
We will then play a game of looking for the flags indicated on the map. At the end, a ranking will be drawn up with the scores obtained.
This is a discipline in contact with nature, particularly suitable for schools, families and team-building.
The activity lasts a total of 3 hours.

This activity is for everyone and ideal for families, adults, friends, schools and companies. The minimum age for participation is 7 years.
Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
