You know what they say, don't you? Life is a pendulum between boredom and. .. adventure!
With this packrafting experience in the province of La Spezia, you will enjoy a 2-hour descent down the rapids of the Vara river. Surrounding you will be wonderful natural scenery, which will frame your fearless exploits!
And to end on a high note, you can enjoy a delicious barbecue!
What we will do
The appointment is at 9. 30 am at the meeting point in Brugnato (SP) . Awaiting us will be the guide who will provide us with all the necessary equipment: neoprene wetsuit, helmet, life jacket and paddle. After dressing, we will board the organisation's vehicles for a transfer of about 10 minutes that will take us to the embarkation point.
Before going into the water, we will participate in a technical briefing to learn how to handle the packraft. We will then begin the approximately 5 km navigation, alternating between rapids and pools of water where we can swim. The stops we will make will all be of a recreational nature, except for one of about 15 minutes, which will be dedicated to a mini-training course on flood self-rescue.
We will descend the Vara river for about 2 hours, testing ourselves and enjoying the surrounding landscape. Once the descent is over, we will land directly at the rafting centre, with no need for further transfers. Here we can finally regenerate with a hot shower before sitting down at the table and concluding the experience with a delicious barbecue of ribs, typical local sausage, polenta, fried potatoes and salad, all accompanied by a quart of wine, water, coffee and a small glass of limoncello.
The activity will last a total of 5 hours, 2 of which will be in water.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for ages 6 and up; children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
It is not possible to participate while pregnant. Swimming skills are required. The maximum weight allowed is 100 kg.
The activity is of an easy level and suitable for a first packrafting experience.
Other information
The experience takes place from October to June, every weekend and public holidays.

There are changing rooms with hot showers and toilets on site, as well as a refreshment area. There is no secure storage available, so we recommend that you leave your valuables in your own.
Any accompanying persons with leashed dogs can wait at the rafting centre.
During the activity, photos and videos will be taken, which participants can obtain by paying an offer.
There is free parking on site. The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
