Visit the scenic wonders of the Val d'Orcia with a scenic 4-hour quad bike tour specially designed to take you along country paths, past the spectacular vineyards of Montepulciano, visit the small medieval village of Monticchiello , and traverse beautiful cypress-lined roads.
From a privileged position and on board a vehicle that is fun to drive, you will admire picture-postcard landscapes that you can't help but immortalise in photos and videos, to make the memory of this day indelible.
This tour is designed to please just about everyone: from those who have never ridden an ATV to the more experienced who want to experience Tuscany in a different and unexpected way.
What we will do
The meeting point is in Chianciano Terme (SI), where we will find the guide with our quads waiting for us.
Before setting off, we will have a short briefing to understand how to drive the quad bike safely and take a test drive. The guide will also explain the route we are going to take, 60 km on mainly dirt terrain, with only short asphalt stretches.
Once this first part is over, we can give gas to the engines and begin the real tour. We will pass through the vineyards of Montepulciano, scenic country roads and visit the small medieval village of Monticchiello, a jewel to be admired. We will then continue the tour passing through the Elysian Fields, the set of the famous film The Gladiator, until we arrive in the heart of the Val d'Orcia to take magnificent photos and videos.
On the way back, we will pass through the Lucciolabella nature reserve, an area of barren, undulating hills, and the Foce where we will drive along one of Tuscany's famous cypress-lined roads.
The tour will take about 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone, even beginners.
The minimum age for passengers is 6 years, while the driver must be of legal age and hold a B driving licence. Foreign car licences are also permitted.
The maximum total weight allowed on board the quad bike is 250 kg.

The quad bike tour is available all year round, every day.
The price is per quad; each quad can take 1 driver and 1 passenger, for a total of 10 participants.
The driver and passenger may decide at any time to swap driving; at the time of departure, they will be asked to sign two liability waivers.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
