Scenic zipline in Cilento: Single flight

Fly with wings outstretched, feeling the air on your face and a shiver running through you from head to toe as you glide along the 1,600-metre steel cable connecting the ends of two hills with spectacular views over the Sele plain, the Gulf of Salerno and the Cilento coastline.

The zipline flight is pure emotion, the kind that makes you scream with joy!

What we will do

The appointment is 20 minutes before the chosen time at the facility in Trentinara, a municipality in the province of Salerno at over 600 metres above sea level, near Paestum and the Cilento National Park.

Upon arrival at the facility, the instructors will conduct a theoretical briefing on the operation of the zipline and the use of safety equipment (harness, lanyard and karabiners). After that, one by one, we will prepare to set off.

The instructors will help us harness and secure us to the zipline pulley and, when our time comes, we will slide down the steel cable with a push. We will fly a 1600-metre stretch over the green forests of the Sele Plain and on the horizon there will be the blue Tyrrhenian Sea, which will appear ever closer, as if we were about to take the most extraordinary dive of our lives!

We will be able to fly in the classic'angel position', prone and with open arms, or seated for even greater comfort.

The zipline flight will last about 1.5 minutes and will reach a speed of 120 km/h: a real adrenalin rush! On arrival, we will be stripped of our harness and have a shuttle bus to take us back to our starting point. Alternatively, we can return via a trekking path, passing by the impressive Solofrone Waterfall.

The total duration of the activity depends on the number of participants, considering that we fly one at a time with successive departures every 5 minutes.

Who it is aimed at

This activity is easy and does not require any special physical skills. All people in good health with a height between 120 and 205 cm and a weight between 35 and 130 kg can fly.

The activity is forbidden for pregnant women and people suffering from serious cardiovascular, neurological or respiratory diseases or in a state of psycho-physical impairment.

Children aged 5 and under can also participate, who will fly together with an instructor.

Other information

The activity is available from May to October.

Before departure, each participant must complete and sign a release form.

You fly one at a time with successive departures 5 minutes apart. After booking, the instructor will inform you of the exact time of your departure. If you would like to fly side by side with someone, you can book a pair flight.

Any accompanying persons who are not flying can stay at the facility and watch their friend's/family member's flight on the big screen.

It is possible to fly together with an instructor at no extra cost. You only have to inform the organiser after booking.

Thanks to thepanoramic lift, disabled people will also have easy access to the facility.

When booking, you can choose between the'flight only' or'flight + video' options; in the latter case, you will be given a GoPro to film the experience and receive the video by e-mail. A digital photo package taken on departure and arrival is also available and can be purchased locally for €15.00. If you own a GoPro, you can bring it to film the experience at no extra cost.

If you show your ticket or booking confirmation for the first flight, you will be able to take a second flight on the same day at a reduced price of €20, subject to availability.

In flight, it is forbidden to carry objects that could get caught (scarves, scarves, pendants, hoods) or fall (mobile phones, keys, cameras, flip-flops). Sunglasses or eyeglasses may be worn.
