Full description
The Majella National Park is a mountain park overlooking the sea. What better way to admire it than from above, flying on the first zipline in Abruzzo?
The Majella zip line is a steel cable that traverses Pacentro, one of Italy's most beautiful villages, offering spectacular views of the Morrone Mountains.
You will wear a harness and let yourself be carried by the pulley along the steel cable where you will reach speeds of up to 80 km/h. Get ready for an adrenalin rush and a thrilling flight!
What we will do
The zipline departure base is located in Pacentro (AQ) at 778 metres. To reach the launching platform, a shuttle service is available that will take you to the starting station in 5 minutes.
Once the harness has been donned, one of the technicians will give a safety briefing. When the time comes, another technician will unhook us from the base and begin our flight. Discovering ourselves suspended in the void, we will experience a wonderful adrenalin rush that we will find hard to forget.
The length of the cable connecting the departure station with the arrival station is 992 metres and crosses the valley bordering Pacentro. On either side we will be able to admire the Monti del Morrone, a protected nature reserve. The maximum speed we will reach will be 80 km/h: pure fun guaranteed.
The duration of the flight is about 1 minute, but we will feel such intense emotion that it will seem like much more time has passed since the launch. At the arrival station, which is located at 665 metres, a staff member will unhook us from the pulley.
A few steps from the landing point we will also find our cars. The total duration of the activity is about 30 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is at an easy level and no special skills are required. However, to participate, you must weigh at least 40 kg and be between 120 cm and 205 cm tall.
People suffering from cardio-respiratory diseases, epilepsy and pregnant women are not allowed to participate in the activity. People under the influence of alcohol or drugs are also not allowed.
Other information
It is necessary to arrive at least 30 minutes before the time chosen when booking.
The activity can be booked from May to October, weather permitting.
Minors may only participate in the presence of a parent or responsible adult, as a waiver must be signed. If they are absent, the minor will not be able to take part in the activity.
If you want to take a video of your flight, you can rent theGoPro and theGoPro docking station directly on site at a cost of 10€ for the GoPro Hero 5 and 5€ for the docking stick. Otherwise, you can bring your own action cam, as long as it is securely attached to you (you can also rent just the docking station).

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
