We found out what's at the end of the rainbow. A parrot!
Let yourself be sprinkled with colour by taking part in our parrot experience in the province of Pavia: in the company of a guide, you will learn about and interact directly with numerous species of birds. All in the context of an association that rescues and cares for birds from distressed situations.
A 3-hour experience, enriched by a tasty snack!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Verrua Po (PV). Awaiting us will be the guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants, we will immediately get to know the protagonists of this experience: the (colourful) parrots! We will meet numerous species including Ararauna, Chloroptera, Amazons, Parakeets and Calopsitti. Thanks to the guide's indications, we will learn how to distinguish the specimens, learning biological and behavioural notions.
Not least, we will learn about the noble mission of the association that is hosting us: to rescue and care for birds that come from distressed situations, as well as to disseminate information on the protection, conservation, day-to-day management and valorisation of these splendid animals.
Afterwards, we will be able to experience the thrill of interacting directly with the parrots, during flight demonstrations and arm-call techniques. Being close to these wonderful creatures will fill our eyes (and hearts) with colour!
In conclusion, we will toast this adventure with a snack of homemade cakes, sandwiches or chips, depending on availability on the day. The experience will last about 3 hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone without age limits. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult participant.
The experience is accessible to people with motor and non-motor disabilities; there is no disabled toilet on site. People with disabilities participate free of charge while accompanying persons pay the full fee: contact the guide at the contact details given in the booking confirmation e-mail to indicate the presence of people with disabilities.

The experience takes place from September to June on Sundays.
Dogs are not allowed.

There is free parking on site. The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
