No, we haven’t gone mad: it’s just that at this farmhouse in Salice Salentino, loads of colourful parrots are waiting for you for an adventure you’ll never forget!
Rio, Mojito, Cocco, Kiri and Sally: you’ll be able to get up close to them, learn how to interact with them and enjoy some fun moments, complete with stories and interesting facts – and an aperitif is included!
What we will do
We’ll meet 10 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Salice Salentino (LE). Our guide will be there to welcome us and accompany us on this experience amidst nature and animals.
After a brief briefing, we’ll be shown how to interact with the parrots and the other animals present. We’ll then begin our encounter with the stars of the show: the parrots Rio, Mojito, Cocco, Kiri and Sally. We’ll be able to approach them, observe them up close, learn about their behaviour and take souvenir photos with them.
We’ll then visit the farm grounds, where we’ll also be able to admire the horses and various birds of prey housed on the premises.
Afterwards, we’ll stop for a relaxing and tasty break with an aperitif featuring alcoholic and/or non-alcoholic drinks, accompanied by nibbles such as taralli, olives, crisps and mini pizzas.
We’ll round off the experience by returning to the meeting point. The activity will last approximately 3 hours in total .

The experience is suitable for everyone aged 2 and over. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult to take part in the activity.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
