A towel among the vines, a Tuscan chopping board and a glass of Brunello: the perfect afternoon exists.
Among the vineyards of Montalcino, in the heart of the Val d'Orcia, you can experience a picnic immersed in one of Italy's most beautiful landscapes, a UNESCO heritage site. You will be given a basket with typical local products, a towel with cushions and - if you wish - a bottle of Rosso or Brunello di Montalcino to uncork directly between the rows of vines.
What we will do
The appointment is at the Colsereno winery, just outside Montalcino. After being welcomed by the staff, you will be able to collect your picnic basket between 16: 00 and 19: 45 and choose where to set up among the Brunello vineyards.
You will be provided with a towel with cushions and a basket of typical Tuscan products freshly prepared with cold meats, cheeses and hot bread. When purchasing, you can choose from 3 different options:
- Tasting Basket: Basket with a platter of local cold meats and cheeses + hot bread; water included; towel and pillows provided. This option does not include wine.
- Cestino Rosso: everything included in the Tasting Basket + 1 bottle of Rosso di Montalcino D. O. C.
- Brunello Basket: everything included in the Tasting Basket + 1 bottle of Brunello di Montalcino D. O. C. G. from the previous year.
You can stay as long as you like, until closing time at 20: 00: time to finish your wine, watch the sunset and breathe in the most authentic Tuscany. And if you are curious about the wines, the owners will be happy to tell you the story of the winery and their organic work.

The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit.
The consumption of wine is restricted to participants over 18 years of age.

The experience takes place from March to November except Sundays and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
At the time of purchase, you can choose to add a platter of cold meats and cheeses (for 2 people); select the corresponding option in the booking box. For those with food intolerances or requirements, alternatives are available on request (contact the guide at the contact details given in your booking confirmation e-mail to communicate these) .
The duration of the experience is indicative: you will be able to collect your picnic basket between 16: 00 and 19: 45 and stay among the vines as long as you wish, until closing time (20: 00) . In case of bad weather, the experience will be postponed or you can pick up your take-away basket to enjoy it wherever you like.
Dogs are allowed.
The meeting point is not easily accessible by public transport; there is ample free parking on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
