Who said that to experience Tuscany you need a set table?
In San Gimignano, the perfect break lies on the ground, among the rows of Vernaccia vines, with a view of the world's most famous towers and the scent of wine in the air: a picnic among Italy's most iconic vineyards.
Choose your bottle - white, red or rosé - take your basket and find your favourite spot among the vines. The only rule? Enjoy the moment.
What we will do
The appointment is at the Palagetto winery , in the hills of San Gimignano, surrounded by tidy vineyards and the scents of the Tuscan countryside.
You will be welcomed by one of the staff, who will make you choose a bottle of wine from Vernaccia, Chianti or Rosato and hand you the basket prepared for 2 people. Inside you will find a mix of Tuscan flavours: cold meats, cheeses, pappa al pomodoro, a cold first course (products may vary according to seasonality) and, of course, a bottle of water.
Then you can go to one of the indicated viewpoints, among the rows of vines with a view of the towers of San Gimignano, or choose your favourite corner among the vineyards. In the basket you will find everything you need: tablecloth, glasses, cutlery and cloth to lay on the grass.
For about 1½ to 2 hours you can enjoy your slow break, amid nature and tranquillity. When you return the basket, you will take only one thing with you: the desire to return.

The consumption of wine is restricted to participants over 18 years of age.
The experience is not wheelchair accessible.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
