Full description
The surroundings of Ferrara as you have never seen them. And no, we are not referring to the timid light ofdawn. From above, with a private one-hour hot-air balloon flight!
A professional pilot will be waiting for you at the take-off point just 30 km away from Bologna. You will witness the preparation of the hot-air balloon, before taking your place in the wicker basket and taking off, letting the wind blow you away. Below your feet the Ferrara plain, theTuscan-Emilian Apennines, and other panoramas over which the currents will push you.
Once you land, a toast in the company of the pilot to celebrate the feat (and who knows what other special occasion)!
What we will do
I will be waiting for you atdawn at the meeting point in Ferrara; I will inform you of the time and take-off point 1 day before our meeting.
The show begins on the ground: upon your arrival you will witness the preparation of the hot air balloon, the lighting of the burner, and the inflation of the balloon. In a briefing I will then explain the rules of behaviour to be followed during the flight, so that you can enjoy the experience to the fullest.
And once we have taken our place in the wicker basket, we will be ready for take-off. After taking off from the ground, we will let the wind take us on an itinerary that could fly over the Ferrara plain, the city of Ferrara, or theTuscan-Emilian Apennines; who knows which of these panoramas the currents will give you!
The flight will last one hour. Once landed, we will celebrate this experience together with a toast (included). We will then be transferred to the meeting point for the return flight, a total of 2½ hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone from 5 years of age, with a minimum height of 1 m.
Hot air ballooning is not suitable for pregnant women, people with cardiovascular diseases, people with mobility problems in their lower limbs and people suffering from vertigo.
Other information
The experience is available from January to December and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 2 participants.
The balloon flight is dependent on weather conditions. For this reason, you will be contacted by the organiser the day before the experience to confirm flight feasibility, time and take-off point. The altitude reached during the flight is very variable and depends on the weather conditions.

If you have made a fixed-date booking and the weather conditions are not suitable for safely carrying out the activity (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be fully refunded. The guide may offer you an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to accept or decline these proposals. If you cannot reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
