Private one-day boat tour to Asinara with lunch

Experience the thrill of taking a dip in the coves with the turquoise sea ofAsinara, spotting dolphins leaping in the waves, and meeting the white donkeys that roam freely on the island.

On board the boat reserved just for you, there will be a skipper and guide who will introduce you to the most important aspects of this island. During the excursion, there will be 3-4 bathing stops in some of Asinara's wonderful coves, such as Spalmatore, Cala dei Graniti, La Secca del Cavallo or Cala Marcutza.

Relax on board with a tasty Sardinian lunch and get off the boat to explore the island on foot. It will be a fantastic day!

What we will do

We will meet at 9.30 a.m. in Stintino, where the boat booked exclusively for the whole day will be waiting for us. On board we will be welcomed by the skipper and the guide, who will make the day even more interesting by telling us a whole series of details and curiosities about the island and the marine protected area that surrounds it.

Thanks to the boat, we will have the opportunity to stop at the island's beautiful coves, which will remind us of a Caribbean paradise. Many of the coves can only be reached by sea. These are truly unspoilt and little-visited coves, where it will be possible to take a dive and wear a mask to discover the seabed .

During the tour there will be about 3-4 bathroom stops. It will be the skipper who will decide where to stop according to weather and sea conditions: from Spalmatore to Cala dei Graniti, from Secca del Cavallo to Cala Marcutza, from Cala Barche Napoletane to Porto Mannu, you will be spoilt for choice.

The whole day will be a succession of special encounters. The Asinara marine area, in fact, is part of the so-called Marine Mammal Sanctuary and is populated by many dolphins playing jumping and chasing each other in the waves.

On board, between dives, we will enjoy a lunch of Sardinian specialities, with a starter and main course of land or sea, depending on the group's preference, all accompanied by water and Vermentino wine.

Once lunch is over, we will head towards Cala Reale, Cala d'Oliva or Fornelli: the skipper will choose the best landing place on Asinara according to the weather and sea conditions of the day. We will have the opportunity to get off the boat and take a one-hour walking tour of the island, discovering its wonders. We will also be able to spot one of the white donkeys that have made the island famous and move freely around the island.

Return to Stintino is scheduled at around 17:30, after an 8-hour excursion.

Who it is aimed at

The activity is suitable for everyone, without age limits.

The boat is not wheelchair accessible.

Other information

The excursion is available daily from May to October and is reserved for private groups of up to 12 participants.

The boat intended for the tour is 10 metres long and is a modern motorboat with a wooden hull built in 2019. At the stern it is equipped with a large awning and sofas in which to sit and enjoy the excursion in comfort, while at the bow it is equipped with a sunbathing couch, a small beach for diving and a freshwater shower. The boat is completed by a galley, a cabin and a toilet. A 3-seater kayak and snorkelling masks are available on board.
