Full description
Get on board a boat reserved for you and your group and enjoy 3 hours of sailing along the coast between Monopoli and Polignano a Mare.
The skipper will take you to discover the caves that characterise the Polignano coastline, such as the suggestive Grotta Palazzese. You will dive into this unique setting and enjoy an aperitif with prosecco and focaccia on board.
You will then continue the tour towards the picturesque town bay of Lama Monachile and to Cala Ponte Marina, where you will make a second stop to dive into Polignano's blue sea.
What we will do
We will meet on the Monopoli pier in the shadow of the Castle of Charles V, where the exclusively reserved boat awaits us. The skipper will be at our complete disposal and will not only be in charge of driving the boat, but will also reveal many interesting facts about our itinerary.
We will sail along the beautiful coastline from Monopoli to Polignano a Mare and admire the sheer cliffs, small sandy inlets, lookout towers and the wonderful colours of the sea. Once near the Polignano coast, the caves in the cliffs on which the town was built await us.
We will stop in front of Grotta Palazzese, the most famous of Polignano's caves thanks to its double vaulted entrance and the terrace suspended over the water that houses the restaurant of the same name. We will make a swimming stop right in front of the cave to experience the thrill of a dive in an unforgettable setting.
Once back on board, we will enjoy an aperitif overlooking the sea with a glass of prosecco and typical Apulian focaccia. Then the boat will head towards the town's most beautiful beach: Lama Monachile. We will be able to take a photo of the high cliffs, made famous all over the world by the divers who take part in the international Red Bull Cliff Diving event every year.
We will then sail for a second swim stop at Cala Ponte Marina, a bay set in one of the most beautiful stretches of the Polignano coastline. After the pleasant water break, the boat will return to the Monopoli pier.
The excursion will last a total of 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for everyone, regardless of age.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.
Other information
The excursion is available from April to October every day and is reserved for private groups of up to 4 participants.
Themotor boat is 6.5 metres long and is equipped with a sun canopy, a freshwater shower, a ladder for boarding after swimming and life jackets.
It is not possible to adapt the aperitif for participants with food intolerances or allergies.
Dogs of all sizes are allowed on board.
