Full description
There are those who visit Polignano a Mare strolling through the historic centre and those who choose the best perspective: that from the sea, at sunset and with a glass of prosecco in hand!
On this exclusive excursion you will sail along the coastline past caves, cliffs and small hidden landings.
For 2 hours, a local skipper will accompany you between Lama Monachile, Grotta Palazzese and the area's most picturesque coves, with a stop for snorkelling and an aperitif on board!
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in San Vito (BA). Waiting for you and your group will be the skipper who will accompany you on your exclusive sunset excursion.
After embarking, you will start sailing along the coast of Polignano a Mare, illuminated by the warm light of late afternoon. From the sea you will be able to see the outline of the village of San Vito, perched on the cliff, and the abbey of the same name, one of the most iconic historical sites in the area.
You will then reach Lama Monachile, the famous inlet framed by the Roman bridge and houses overlooking the cliff. Here the boat will slow down to allow you to take photographs and enjoy the panorama from a privileged perspective.
The navigation will continue to Grotta Palazzese, where you will stop for a few more photographs before passing by the Isola dell'Eremita, habitat of the Corsican seagull, and Pastalga with its small fishing harbour. You can also admire the beautiful Pozzovivo Cave.
During the tour you can choose with your group and the skipper where to stop for a dip in the water and some snorkelling , and while you relax on board, you will be served an aperitif (included) with tarallini, focaccia, water, tea, limoncello and prosecco.
After admiring the sunset over the sea, you will return to the San Vito marina. The activity will last a total of 2 hours.

The experience is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The experience is available all year round and takes place on an exclusive basis.
The route may change according to sea weather conditions, at the skipper's discretion.
For the excursion, a 7-metre Open non-cabin motorboat will be used, equipped with sunshade, freshwater shower, ladder for ascending from the sea and safety equipment. It is not necessary to remain barefoot on board.

Small dogs are allowed.
Free and paid parking spaces are available on site. The area is not accessible by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
