Explore Puglia's enchanting coastline and the fascinating caves of Polignano a Mare on a 2-hour private tour.
On a boat at your complete disposal, to be shared with whoever you want up to a maximum of 8 people, you will go on an excursion that will take you to discover suggestive places such as the Grotta dei Colombi and the Grotta degli Innamorati.
You will have the unique opportunity to explore some of the most beautiful caves on the Polignano coast, such as the large Grotta Palazzese and Grotta delle Monache, which can only be visited by sea! So, what are you waiting for?
What we will do
The appointment, 15 minutes before the time indicated in the booking, is in Polignano a Mare (BA) where you will be welcomed by the skipper who will be your guide during the tour.
With the boat at your disposal, you will begin your journey to discover the most beautiful and evocative places in Polignano. You will admire the magnificent scenery offered by the Apulian coast, with its beaches, ramparts and caves. The latter hold incredible and fascinating stories, and you will learn about them through the skipper's tales during the excursion.
You will explore a series of natural caves sculpted by the relentless action of the sea over the centuries. Some you will admire from the outside, others you will visit from the inside: as the sunlight, filtering through the openings, creates plays of light and shadow on the rocky walls, you will feel like you are experiencing magic!
You will visit Grotta Palazzese and Grotta dei Colombi, a real cave where remains of Neolithic settlements have been found. Then it will be the turn of the Grotta dei Due Occhi, the Grotta delle Monache and the Grotta dell'Arcivescovado, with its large entrance cavern and its sunlit vaulted chambers that offer a spectacle of rare beauty. You will then move on to the Grotto of Peter and Paul and the Grotto of the Lovers.
On the way you will make a 30-minute bathing stop during which you can dive into the refreshing waters of the Apulian coast, either in front of the Polignano bastions or towards the Scoglio dell'Eremita.
The tour lasts a total of two hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The boat is not wheelchair accessible.

The excursion is available daily from February to December and is intended for private groups of up to 8 participants.
Theboat is a 6 m motorboat, with awning, shower and safety equipment.
The itinerary and bathing stop may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
Small dogs are allowed on board.
A marine passenger tax of €4 per person is payable on site.
The venue cannot be reached by public transport. There is free parking outside the marina.
