The idea for a different day at the beach? Surprise your friends with a proposal they won't be able to refuse: anexcursion aboard a private dinghy in the Gulf of Tigullio.
The skipper will be waiting for you in Rapallo to accompany you on an 8-hour tour of the natural and scenic beauty of Portofino, Santa Margherita Ligure, San Fruttuoso and Punta Chiappa.
Dives, laughter and postcard views will make every moment unforgettable!
What we will do
The meeting point is Rapallo (GE), 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
Here you will find the skipper waiting for you, who will accompany you on board the dinghy reserved for you and your group of up to 8 passengers. Once seated, you will set off to discover the Gulf of Tigullio on a tour that will touch upon the area's most beautiful attractions.
First you will sail to Santa Margherita Ligure, which will appear to you from the sea with its expanse of colourful houses along the harbour. Then the navigation will continue towards Portofino and its lighthouse, which embraces thePortofino Protected Marine Area with its 'eye'.
Arriving near the bay of San Fruttuoso, it will be time to enjoy a 30-40 minute swim to explore the treasures hidden in the depths, such as the statue of Christ of the Abyss, located at a depth of 17 m.
You will then proceed to Punta Chiappa, the last stop on the excursion: this rocky tongue jutting out into the deep blue sea is one of Liguria's most incredible natural spectacles.
During the day there will be time for at least 2 more swimming stops, at points of your choice or recommended by the skipper. For lunch (not included) you will be free to organise yourself as you prefer: you can bring food and drinks on board for a packed lunch or request to go ashore for lunch in a restaurant in Portofino, Santa Margherita or San Fruttuoso.
Return to Rapallo is scheduled around 18:00, after an 8-hour excursion.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult, while those 12 and older may participate with a signed parental release.
The boat is not accessible for wheelchair users or persons with reduced mobility.
Other information
The tour is available from June to mid-September and is intended for private groups of 1 to 8 people.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The excursion takes place on board the BWA 740 dinghy, 7.4 m long and 175 HP Mercury engine, equipped with a small cover to create a shaded area and a freshwater shower.
As an extra service, after booking confirmation it is possible to request a SUP board (30€ payable locally) for use during the excursion.
After booking confirmation, you can arrange lunch (not included) directly with the organisers. You can take a packed lunch with you, have the skipper accompany you ashore for lunch in a restaurant, or request a typical Ligurian aperitif (30€ to 60€ per group, depending on the number of participants). Inform the organisers of any food allergies or intolerances.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; parking is available on site.
A maximum of 1 small to medium-sized dog is allowed on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
