Private flight at dawn in the Upper Padua area and breakfast

Some people sleep at dawn. Others choose to watch the Veneto region come to life from a hot-air balloon.

With a private hot-air balloon flight, you’ll spend around an hour soaring over the splendid landscapes of the Alto Padovano in the most evocative light of the day. There’s no set route: the wind will decide where to take you, making every flight different from the last.

And after landing , a breakfast of canapés, fruit juice and prosecco will be waiting for you to celebrate this extraordinary experience!

What we will do

The meeting point is just before dawn in Castelfranco Veneto (TV). On arrival, you will meet the pilot and watch as the hot-air balloon is prepared and inflated, which takes around 30 minutes.

This will be followed by a pre-flight briefing, during which you’ll receive all the necessary instructions to ensure you enjoy the experience safely. Then it will finally be time to board: you’ll take your seat in the basket and the hot-air balloon will begin to rise slowly.

If conditions take the flight towards Castelfranco Veneto, from above you’ll be able to admire the hills of Asolo, the vineyards and the Venetian villas, bathed in the first light of day. If, on the other hand, the wind takes you towards Cittadella, you’ll be able to see the spectacular medieval city walls with their distinctive circular shape, the surrounding countryside and, depending on the route, the Brenta landscape.

The hot-air balloon typically reaches an altitude of 400–500 metres, and the flight lasts approximately one hour. However, there is no set itinerary: the direction, altitude and landing point depend on the wind and the conditions on the day.

Once back on the ground, you’ll be able to watch the balloon being deflated whilst you’re served breakfast with savoury snacks, fruit juice and prosecco. As the landing point will be different from the departure point, the organiser’s transfer service will take you back to the meeting point, a journey of approximately 15 minutes.

The experience lasts a total of around 3 hours.

Who it is aimed at

There is no minimum age, but participants must be at least 120 cm tall. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

The experience is not permitted for pregnant women and is not accessible to people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.

During the flight, you must remain standing inside the basket. If you have any medical conditions or health issues that could interfere with taking part in the activity, you are advised to consult your doctor before taking part.

Other information

The experience is available all year round, weather permitting. The flight is private and reserved for your group, with a maximum of 6 participants.

The time indicated at the time of booking is approximate: the actual time is adjusted according to the season and the time of sunrise. The pilot will confirm whether the flight is feasible in the days leading up to the experience or, if necessary, by the evening before.

The meeting point is determined based on wind conditions and will be communicated as soon as possible, usually 3–4 days in advance. Whether it can be reached by public transport depends on the chosen location. Free parking is available on site.

You can request a photo shoot during the flight for an additional charge of €50. To request this, please contact the organiser using the contact details provided in your booking confirmation email.

Options are available for people with food allergies and intolerances; please inform the organiser in advance.

Dogs and other animals are not permitted.
