Live a unique, exciting and unforgettable experience: a hot-air balloon flight in Barolo is an ever-changing and unrepeatable journey to be experienced at least once in a lifetime.
Fly over the "Langa del Barolo", a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2014, famous throughout the world for its beauty and fine products: you will be able to admire from above the enchantment of the gentle slopes and medieval villages, interspersed with imposing castles. For about an hour, you will be able to enjoy a dreamlike panorama of vineyards and colourful valleys.
What we will do
We will take off amidst the vineyards that have made the fortune of these lands and you will be able to admire the beauty of their gentle slopes. For about an hour you will be able to admire a dream landscape from above, the multicoloured vineyards and our valleys.
The castle of Barolo and the rounded hills will enviously follow our hovering in the air. We will also be able to see other castles (Monforte, Serralunga, Grinzane, Cavour) located close to our take-off point and observe this beautiful corner of Piedmont from a new perspective. At the end of the trip we will toast tasting the typical local products, famous throughout the world for their goodness.
Who it is aimed at
Flying in a hot-air balloon does not involve any particular risks or contraindications. However, you must be in good health and at least 7 years of age and at least 130 cm tall. Under 14, one must be accompanied by an adult, and up to 18, written parental consent is required.
In addition, due to restrictions on balloon lifting capacities, passengers over 120 kg will be subject to a surcharge.
Participants are solely responsible for ensuring that they are fit to fly. It is recommended to consult a doctor in case of surgery or medical treatment in the 2 months preceding the flight.
For safety reasons, it is not possible to fly if you are pregnant, under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or unable to maintain the support position during landing, which consists of bending your knees while holding on to the landing handles. The pilot has the right to decide whether the participant is fit to fly.
Other information
Flights take place at sunrise all year round or before sunset from mid-September to mid-May. Theexact time and meeting point will be indicated the day before the flight. You will receive the organisers' contact details when your booking is confirmed.
The price of the flight includes a toast with typical local products on landing (cold meats, cheeses and local wines, taralli, toasted hazelnuts, dried pears, fruit juices, water and, on request, hazelnut cake).

In-flight musician. Make the hot-air balloon flight experience even more romantic and exciting, the notes of an expert musician will accompany us on a truly unforgettable tour. Cost: €200 (payable locally).
Tasting at high altitude. The right mix of emotions and flavours, a tasting tour flying over the wine-growing landscapes of the famous Barolo Langa, savouring and discovering the nectar of these lands thanks to a professional sommelier. The tasting served by the sommelier will be accompanied by 4 different typical cheeses. Starting from 57€ per person.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
