Full description
There are experiences that you must try at least once in your life: this private hot-air balloon flight in the province of Cuneo is one of them!
Fly over the 'Langa del Barolo', a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2014 and famous throughout the world for its beauty. You will admire the landscape dotted with medieval villages, valleys and vineyards from above.
It will be a true one-hour dream!
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes early at the meeting point in Barolo (CN), where the organisers will be waiting for us.
We will climb into the wicker basket and take off amidst the vineyards that have made the fortune of these lands, and we will be enchanted by the beauty of the surrounding valleys. For about an hour we will relax and fly surrounded by a dreamlike landscape.
From above we will be able to see the castle of Barolo and the hills that frame it, and we will be able to catch a glimpse of other castles (Monforte, Serralunga, Grinzane, Cavour) located near the take-off point. The atmosphere will be intimate and, as it is a private flight, we will share the emotions with our loved ones.
After enjoying a unique perspective on this marvellous corner of Piedmont, we will return to the ground and toast tasting some typical local products, famous throughout the world for their goodness. A worthy conclusion to an unforgettable experience!
Who it is aimed at
Flying in a hot-air balloon does not involve any particular risks or contraindications. However, you must be in good health and at least 7 years of age and at least 130 cm tall. Under 14, one must be accompanied by an adult, and up to 18, written parental consent is required.
In addition, due to restrictions on balloon lifting capacities, passengers over 120 kg will be subject to a surcharge.
Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are fit to fly. It is recommended to consult a doctor in case of surgery or medical treatment in the two months preceding the activity.
It is not possible to fly if you are pregnant or unable to maintain the support position during landing, which consists of bending your knees while holding on to the landing handles. The pilot has the right to decide whether the participant is fit to fly.
Other information
Flights take place all year round at sunrise or before sunset from mid-September to mid-May. Theexact time and meeting point will be indicated the day before the flight. You will receive the organisers' contact details when your booking is confirmed. Free parking spaces are available at the meeting point.
The experience includes a toast with typical local products on landing (cold meats, cheeses and local wines, taralli, toasted hazelnuts, dried pears, fruit juices, water and, on request, hazelnut cake). In case of allergies and intolerances, please contact the organisers at the contact details in your booking confirmation e-mail to request an alternative.
