Full description
Celebrate aspecial occasion with your partner, family, or close friends by reserving a hot-air balloon just for you and flying over theAlto Padovano.
You will be carried away by the wind on board a wicker basket and will be able to admire the Veneto plain and the medieval town of Cittadella from above, depending on the currents of the day.
It will be anexciting and evocative experience that will give you the sensation of floating in the air and observing the world from the best perspective: that of the sky!
What we will do
The rendezvous is at sunrise or sunset at Galliera Veneta, in the province of Padua (we fly early in the morning to take advantage of the best conditions). Upon arrival, you will witness the preparation of the hot-air ballo on and the lighting of the burner, with the great blaze that inflates the balloon.
You will then have a briefing on behaviour and safety rules and settle into the basket with the pilot, ready to take off.
Once at altitude, the balloon will be propelled by the wind. The currents of the day will decide which way to go, making each trip unique and unrepeatable. The coloured balloon may fly over the Venetian plain or the medieval town of Cittadella, characteristic for its city walls.
The balloon flight will last about one hour and will end with a soft landing. Once out of the basket, an organiser's vehicle will pick you up and take you back to the meeting point.
In total, between transfers, preparation and flight, the experience will last approximately 2.5 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Hot air ballooning is a suitable activity for anyone in good health. The only restrictions are for pregnant women and people with serious heart problems or limited mobility in their lower limbs. The minimum age allowed for the activity is 8 years or in any case you must betaller than 115 cm.

Attention. You must arrive at the meeting place approximately 30 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
This activity can be booked all year round, weather permitting, and is intended for private groups of 2 to 6 persons.
Important: flight times vary depending on the time of year and weather conditions, as does the take-off point in exceptional cases. A few days before the activity you will receive an email from the pilot confirming the time and address. Always check the email before leaving! If you have not received a message, please contact the pilot by phone at the contact details given in your booking confirmation.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
