What we will do
You will meet the pilot in Gravina in Puglia, in an area suitable for take-off and selected according to the winds of the day (the address of the meeting point will be communicated to you a few days before the activity).
Before take-off, you will witness the preparation phase of the hot-air balloon, when the balloon will begin to inflate and take shape thanks to thehot air coming from the large burner flame. You will then have a short briefing on behaviour and safety rules and sit inside the wicker basket, ready to take off.
You will fly, carried by the wind , and admire a varied and unusual landscape: from the town of Gravina with its many churches, to the karst canyon that develops in the surrounding area, to theAlta Murgia mountains and the rock constructions that characterise the area.
Upon landing, the ground staff will welcome you with an aperitif based on local products and will hand you yourflight certificate.
The activity will last a total of about 3 hours, of which 1 hour of actual flight, and will end with the return to the meeting point.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is of an easy level and is suitable for everyone from 8 years old and up (with a height of at least 130 cm). To fly in a hot-air balloon, you only need to be in good health. The only restrictions are for pregnant women, those suffering from serious illnesses incompatible with flying, and those with mobility problems in their lower limbs.

Attention! Please arrive at the meeting point about half an hour before the departure time.
This activity is exclusive and is intended for private groups of 2 to 8 participants. It can be carried out all year round, subject to weather and wind conditions.
The flight takes place in the early morning hours to take advantage of the best currents. The day before the activity, the pilot will confirm the meeting time and provide you with the exact address for the rendezvous.
If you are in a couple,drinks can be taken either on landing or during the flight. Communicate your preference to the pilot after booking.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
