Experience the thrill of a hot-air balloon flight over theSila plateau and admire from above the majestic natural landscape offered by theSila National Park, located in the heart of Calabria.
Let the wind carry you and enjoy the spectacle of nature from above. Fly over forests and watercourses, small villages surrounded by greenery and mountains that are home to a great variety of flora and fauna.
With a private flight, the hot-air balloon will be all to yourself and you can enjoy the experience in total privacy and tranquillity: on board there will only be you, the pilot and the people you wish to share this unforgettable journey with!
What we will do
The meeting point for the activity will be near the Sila National Park, in the province of Cosenza, in an area suitable for take-off that will be identified a few days before the flight, depending on wind conditions (the address will be provided to you directly by the pilot).
Upon arrival, you will witness the preparation of the hot-air balloon and the inflation of the balloon. You will then conduct a briefing on behaviour and safety rules and board the wicker basket, ready to take off.
The hot air balloon will take off and begin to follow the trajectory of the wind, flying over beech and coniferous forests, mountain ranges and streams, giving you a wonderful view of one of the richest and most varied ecosystems in southern Italy. It will not be difficult to spot some of the local fauna from above: birds of prey, roe deer, wild boar, wolves and many others.
The flight will last about one hour and will end with a soft landing followed by an aperitif of typical products and the awarding of theflight certificate.
The activity, in total, will last about 3 hours and will end with the return to the initial meeting point.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is easy and suitable for everyone from 8 years old and up (with a height of at least 130 cm). To fly in a hot-air balloon, you only need to be in good health. The only restrictions are for pregnant women, those suffering from serious illnesses incompatible with flying, and those with mobility problems in their lower limbs.

Attention! Please arrive at the meeting point about half an hour before the departure time.
This activity is exclusive and is intended for private groups of 2 to 8 participants. It can be carried out all year round, subject to weather and wind conditions.
The flight takes place in the early morning hours or at sunset to take advantage of the best currents. The day before the activity, the pilot will confirm the meeting time and give you the exact address for the rendezvous.
If you are in a couple,drinks can be taken either on landing or during the flight. Communicate your preference to the pilot after booking.
