Full description
One of the most relaxing ways to explore the Tigullio Gulf is by sea, with a 4-hour private sailing tour.
Set sail from Rapallo in the company of a skipper and sail aboard VIKO 22S along the coast between Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino.
The colourful fan of this stretch of the Riviera di Levante will make you feel like you're inside a painting!
What we will do
The appointment is in Rapallo (GE), 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
The skipper will welcome you on board the VIKO 22S, a sailing boat that can accommodate up to 4 passengers and that will be reserved exclusively for you and your group.
From Rapallo you will sail to Santa Margherita Ligure and you will be able to assist the skipper during navigation to learn some sailing basics. From the boat you will admire Santa Margherita Ligure's beautiful waterfront, a rainbow of colours that will mesmerise you.
Then the tour will continue towards Portofino: the boat will enter the harbour to allow you to breathe in its atmosphere, made up of a thousand colourful facades and glamorous charm. You will sail along the promontory dominated by the Brown Castle to reach the Portofino lighthouse, whose gaze embraces the Protected Marine Area.
At this point the skipper will reverse course to begin the slow and gentle return to Rapallo. Along the way there will be a bathing stop of about 40 minutes, to be decided on the basis of weather and sea conditions.
The tour will last 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult, while those 12 and older may participate with a signed parental release.
The boat is not accessible for wheelchair users or persons with reduced mobility.

The tour is available all year round and is intended for private groups of 1 to 4 people.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The excursion takes place on board the sailing boat Viko 22, ideal for 4 persons, with a Selva 8 HP engine, length of 6.95 m, awning, fresh water shower and toilet.
As an extra service, after booking confirmation it is possible to request a SUP board (€30 payable locally) for use during the excursion.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; parking is available on site.
A maximum of 1 small to medium-sized dog is permitted on board.
