Full description
Let yourself be carried away by the wind and spend a day of relaxation and fun sailing in the Gulf of Tigullio.
On board VIKO 22S and in the company of a skipper, you will set sail from Rapallo for an exclusive 8-hour tour to discover this part of the Riviera di Levante.
From the hidden treasures in the Portofino Protected Marine Area to the panoramas of San Fruttuoso, wonder will be your companion on this adventure!
What we will do
The rendezvous is in Rapallo (GE), 10 minutes before the scheduled departure time.
The skipper will welcome you on board the VIKO 22S, a sailing boat that can accommodate up to 4 passengers. What awaits you will be a private tour to discover the Gulf of Rapallo, to visit some of the Riviera's most beautiful coves.
The skipper will sail to Portofino, whose pastel-coloured houses and lush Mediterranean vegetation can be appreciated from the sea . Not only will you experience the thrill of sailing, but if you wish, you can even assist the skipper during navigation to learn some basics.
You will then reach the Protected MarineArea of Portofino and the bay of San Fruttuoso, to enjoy a swim stop of about 40 minutes. Don't forget your snorkelling mask at home, because on the seabed you can admire the statue of Christ of the Abyss, located at a depth of 17 m between Camogli and Portofino.
A short distance along the coast you will see the outline of theSan Fruttuoso Abbey, a Benedictine monastery built close to the beach and now part of the FAI's Assets.
For lunch you can organise yourself as you prefer: packed, bringing food or drinks on board, or in a restaurant in Portofino, Santa Margherita or San Fruttuoso, where the skipper can accompany you to go ashore.
After lunch, in the afternoon, you can make a second swim stop on the way back to Rapallo (to be decided according to weather and sea conditions). Return is expected around 18:00, after an 8-hour excursion.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone, with no age limit. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult, while those 12 and older may participate with a signed parental release.
The boat is not accessible for wheelchair users or persons with reduced mobility.

The tour is available all year round and is intended for private groups of 1 to 4 people.
The itinerary and stops may vary depending on weather and sea conditions.
The excursion takes place on board the sailing boat Viko 22, ideal for 4 persons, with a Selva 8 HP engine, length of 6.95 m, awning, fresh water shower and toilet.
As an extra service, after booking confirmation it is possible to request a SUP board (€30 payable locally) for use during the excursion.
After booking confirmation, you can arrange lunch (not included) directly with the organisers. You can take a packed lunch with you, have the skipper accompany you ashore for lunch in a restaurant, or request a typical Ligurian aperitif (from 30€ per group, customisable according to the products chosen). Inform the organisers of any food allergies or intolerances.
The meeting point can be reached by public transport; parking is available on site.
A maximum of 1 small to medium-sized dog is allowed on board.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 0 days from the activity start date. Within 0 and 0 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
