Private brewery tour and beer tasting in Folgaria on the Alpe Cimbra

The real magic of a craft beer cannot be seen in the glass: it is discovered by entering the brewery, among the machinery, the aroma of malt and the stories of those who create it.

At the Barbaforte Brewery in Folgaria, near Trento, you will have the opportunity to experience it exclusively, with a private visit designed just for enthusiasts like you.

An experience of about 1 hour in which you will taste 3 different craft beers, chosen at the moment, accompanied by local products!

What we will do

The appointment is at the selected time at the Barbaforte Brew ery in Folgaria (TN), in the setting of the Alpe Cimbra, the territory that characterises every production of the brewery.

To welcome you in the brewery shop you will find the master brewer, ready to guide you on a private tour through the production facilities.

Here the master brewer will tell you the story of the Barbaforte Brewery, explaining the evolution of the plant and the seasonal productions that characterise the offer.

During your first tasting of craft beer, you will enter the warehouse where the barley malt and other raw materials are stored: here you will be able to touch, observe and taste the ingredients directly, discovering how each element is then found in the finished beer. A true sensory experience combining beer and raw material in a journey of discovery.

You will continue to the brewing room, where you will be explained how recipes are created, how the wort is created and what the fundamental process is that shapes each beer.

You will then visit the fermentation room with the vats where the magical transformation of wort into beer takes place, discovering how different fermentation styles influence the final result.

The tour will continue through the various processing machines, from bottling to the final details of the production process.

During the tour you will taste two beers, after which you will conclude the tasting by returning to the brewery shop with the third and final tasting, accompanied by local products such as crostini and local specialities.

The experience will last about 1 hour in total.

Who it is aimed at

The experience is a private tour suitable for groups of 2 to 45 participants, perfect for couples, families, groups of friends or corporate teams wishing to experience the brewery exclusively.

Beer tasting is reserved for adults only. Children up to the age of 10 participate free of charge.

The facility is fully accessible for people with mobility problems, including buggies and wheelchairs.

The experience is available all year round by reservation and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.

There is free parking for guests on site. The brewery can be reached by public transport.

Dogs are not allowed inside the brewery during the tour and tasting, but are welcome in the shop if kept on a leash.
