Full description
We have brought the sea to Rome. Or almost.
Take part in our horseback ride in Santa Severa: in the company of an equestrian guide, you will ride along the shoreline past the Sanctuary of Apollo and the Macchiatonda Regional Nature Reserve. And if the temperatures permit, you can even enter the water on horseback!
A 2-hour experience, enhanced by an aperitif on the beach!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Santa Severa (RM). Awaiting us will be the equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure!
Having gathered all the participants and handed over the equipment, we will receive all the useful information for a carefree experience. We will then mount the saddle and learn the basics of horse riding. This moment will last approximately 10 minutes.
And here we are ready for our horseback ride: we will ride along the beach to the Furbara Marina, passing the Apollo Sanctuary, the scenic Sabbie Nere and the Macchiatonda Regional Nature Reserve. If the temperatures allow, we will also go horse riding in the water! The walk will last one and a half hours.
We will then return to the meeting point where an aperitif will be waiting for us: we will toast with spritz or prosecco, accompanied by pizzas, chips and other assorted snacks. The experience will last a total of 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable from 14 years of age. Children under the age of 18 must be accompanied to the riding school by an adult.
A maximum weight of 100 kg is required to participate.
The experience is of an easy level and suitable as a first horse ride.
Other information
The experience takes place from September to May and is confirmed upon reaching a minimum number of 4 participants.
