Full description
POV: your friends are planning their holidays in Calabria. Your proposal:"I would go to Cotronei."
The reason? A quad bike tour in Sila, which alone is worth the whole trip! We don't limit ourselves here, however, and have added a typical lunch included.
In short, if you can't convince them with adventure, you can always take them by the throat: no one has ever been able to resist Calabrian culinary specialities!
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Cotronei (KR). Awaiting us will be our guide, who will provide us with some valuable information on the activity during a briefing of about 10 minutes.
We will then get on the saddle for a test ride on the quad bike and be ready to go! Led by the guide, we will follow a route of around 16 km that will take us into the Sila National Park, populated by the so-called 'giants', the tall beech and pine trees, as well as many animal species including foxes and badgers.
With the exception of an initial stretch of asphalt, we will drive on easy dirt roads , passing beautiful lakes until we reach anairfield. Afterwards, we will return to the meeting point after about 1 hour of quad biking.
At this point, it will be time to refresh ourselves with a typical lunch served at a local restaurant. The meal will include an appetiser with a platter of cold cuts, vegetable fritters, meatballs, a first and second course of meat from the menu of the day, side dishes, water and wine.
The experience will last a total of approximately 2 hours, depending on how long you stay at the restaurant.
Who it is aimed at
The driver of the quad bike must be at least 16 years old and hold a B, B1 or A1 driving licence. The passenger, on the other hand, must be at least 1. 20 m tall. Alternatively, on request it is possible to conduct the tour on board a Can-Am (4-seater) or Buggy (2-seater) with no age limit for the passenger.
Persons with disabilities may participate in the activity in the role of passengers, subject to contacting the facility via the contact details you will receive in your booking confirmation email.
Other information
The activity takes place all year round.
The organiser has at its disposal 20 quads capable of carrying 1 driver + 1 passenger for a total of 40 participants. During the excursion, it is possible to swap drivers as long as the driver and passenger meet the requirements.
In the event of allergies and/or food intolerances or preferences for a vegetarian menu, please contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to let him know.
Dogs are not allowed on board the quad bike. Alternatively, you can contact the organiser at the contact details given in your booking confirmation email to ask for a buggy excursion.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport. Free parking is available on site.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
