Full description
Experience abreathtaking quad bike adventure that will take you to the discovery of Monterano, a picturesque abandoned village just a stone's throw from Rome. Have fun driving along a 60 km off-road route and test your driving skills.
An expert guide will lead the way to the ghost town, which you will visit after a trek of about 40 minutes, through evocative landscapes and ancient ruins.
Enjoy 4 hours of adventure and fun with this unique excursion.
What we will do
The meeting with the guide is at 9 a.m. in Trevignano Romano, in the province of Rome. After the various presentations, there will be a briefing in which the characteristics of the quad bike and how to ride it will be explained.
We will also take a test ride inside a square to get familiar with the vehicle. Once this preparation phase is over, we will leave to reach the site of Monterano, which stands on a tuffaceous hill to the west of Lake Bracciano.
The route is about 60 km and is mostly on dirt road. Before reaching the village, we will make a 15-minute stop at a viewpoint to admire the landscape and take a few souvenir photos. Afterwards, we will get back on the quad bike in the direction of Canale Monterano.
Once there, we will park the quad bike to visit the ghost town on foot. The trek will take about 40 minutes, during which we can also take a break at the refreshment point and admire more breathtaking views. Return to the starting point is scheduled for 1.30 pm.
The hike has a total duration of 4 hours, of which 3 hours will be spent driving the quad bike.
Who it is aimed at
The excursion is suitable for everyone from 5 years old and up.
To drive the quad bike, however, you must have a B driving licence. The original driving licence must be presented prior to the start of the activity. Photos or copies of the document will not be accepted.

Attention! Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your departure time.

Departure is guaranteed once the minimum number of 2 booked quad bikes has been reached.
Important: the fee of €130 is per quad. Each quad can carry one passenger and one driver (with the possibility of swapping driving). There are 4 quads for a total of 8 participants between drivers and passengers.
The quads are equipped with roof racks for carrying a rucksack and water. Valuables can be deposited in a safety locker at the starting point.
