Explore the Tuscan countryside and the Crete Senesi on board a quad bike on an evocative 2-hour sunset excursion.
Admire the sky and the hills as they take on special colours and make the picture-postcard landscapes that characterise this region even more incredible.
Drive the 4-wheel vehicle on scenic paths, mule tracks and white roads for a tour that combines nature, emotions, fun and passion for motors.
What we will do
We will meet 30 minutes before the selected time, shortly before sunset, at the excursion guide 's farm in Asciano (SI), one of the municipalities belonging to the Crete Senesi area. This area of great landscape value is characterised by wide expanses of fields, rows of cypresses, isolated farmhouses and clayey gullies.
Before setting off to explore the area, we will have an introductory briefing and a test drive of the quad bike on an internal circuit. After that, we will start our quad bike tour at sunset , driving along white roads, dirt tracks and mule tracks.
Bend after bend, we will admire bucolic landscapes, crossing avenues lined with cypresses and biancane, whitish dome-shaped reliefs typical of clay soils. An obligatory stop will be the Site Transitoire, a modern sculpture representing a monumental stone window that frames and dominates the landscape.
During the tour we will alternate between easy paths and more technical stretches where we can practice our driving skills and exploit the potential of a vehicle such as an ATV.
The activity has a total duration of 2 hours and ends with the return to the starting point. In total, we will cover about 45 km on quad bikes.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open to anyone with a B licence. No previous experience of riding quad bikes is required. Children 3 years and older may ride as passengers on the parent's quad bike.
Other information
This activity can take place all year round and can accommodate a maximum of 22 participants, with a total of 11 quads available.
Important: the fee is per quad. The 'single quad' includes an ATV for one person (driver), while the 'double quad' includes an ATV for two people (driver and passenger). Driver and passenger can swap driving.
Thedeparture time varies throughout the year to coincide with the beginning of sunset and will be confirmed to you by the organiser after booking.
