Full description
Visit theVal d'Orcia, one of the most evocative areas in Tuscany, with a quad bike tour that will take you to Monticchiello, a characteristic medieval village in the province of Siena.
Onboard a quad bike, a safe and manoeuvrable vehicle, halfway between a motorbike and an off-road vehicle, you will travel 25 km of white roads and paths. Once in the village, you will be offered an aperitif of typical products in a place with a fantastic terrace.
If you want to experience a different afternoon and explore an enchanting area of Tuscany, this tour is definitely for you!
What we will do
The rendezvous is at Tenimenti Andreucci, a locality in Pienza, in the province of Siena. We will be welcomed by our guide, who will give us a short briefing to explain how the quad bike works and the various safety rules to be observed during the tour.
At the end of this phase, we will climb into the saddle of our quad bike and venture along roads and paths, surrounded by lush nature and cultivated hills and land. We will cover about 13 km before arriving in Monticchiello, one of the most beautiful villages in Tuscany.
Here we can park the quad bike and sit down at a local restaurant where we will be offered an aperitif with a platter of cold cuts and cheeses and a choice of wine, spritz or cocktail. The view from the panoramic terrace is wonderful and will leave us breathless.
After the stop, we will get back on the quad bike to take the return route for another 13 km or so. The tour will last between 2.5 and 3 hours, depending on the season.
Who it is aimed at
The tour is suitable for everyone from the age of 6.
To ride the quad bike you must be at least 18 years old and have a B licence.
Other information
The tour can be booked from April to October.
Each quad bike can carry 2 persons, 1 driver and 1 passenger. The organisation has a total of 6 quads, with a total of 12 participants (6 drivers and 6 passengers).
The cost of the aperitif is included in the total price.
