Experience the thrills of anadrenaline-filled activity in contact with nature: rafting on the Adda river will be an unforgettable experience!
On board the dinghy, paddle in hand, you will face the rapids of the river in a crescendo of fun and unique sensations. A rafting descent within everyone's reach, guided by experienced and professional instructors.
Get ready for an eventful river adventure between rushing waters and calmer stretches where you can contemplate the wonderful landscapes of Valtellina.
What we will do
We will meet at the rafting centre in Castione Andevenno, in the province of Sondrio. Having formed the group, got acquainted with the instructors and donned a wetsuit and water jacket, we will reach by shuttle to the point on the river from which we will embark on our adventure.
Before boarding the dinghy, we will have a briefing on the basic techniques and the rules of behaviour and safety to be observed during the activity, and then we will be ready to challenge the current of theAdda! We will sail along a stretch of river that alternates between rapids and currents and moments of 'breathing space' where the waters flow calmly.
During the descent we will slalom between natural obstacles, overcome rapids and test our skills with aquatic tests and games organised by the instructors, all in the name of fun and always in total safety!
The activity lasts a total of 1½ hours. Back at the rafting centre, we can use the changing rooms and hot showers and then we will be free to continue our day in Valtellina as we prefer.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open to everyone from 3 years upwards. No previous experience is required and it is not necessary to know how to swim.

Attention. Please arrive approximately 45 minutes before the start time of the activity.
This activity is bookable from April to September, subject to weather and environmental conditions. In April and May, the activity is confirmed with a minimum of 4 participants, and from June to September with a minimum of 2 participants (if you don't reach the number, you may be joined to another group, subject to availability).
The activity may be subject to change depending on the river's hydrometric flow rate, at the instructors' sole discretion.
On request, it is possible to combine the activity with a wine tasting in a local wine cellar at a cost of €25 per person (payable locally).
The shuttle service is available for a maximum of 15 participants. Larger groups will have to provide their own transport.
Dogs are allowed on the activity.
