Enjoy afun activity in nature and challenge the current of the Aventine River on board a rafting dinghy. Our experienced instructors are waiting for you for an incredible water adventure!
You will explore a fascinating environment at the foot of Mount Porrara in Abruzzo, amidst small characteristic villages, beautiful natural landscapes and dense vegetation.
Gather your group of friends, get ready for a river of adrenaline and enjoy an exciting and 'refreshing' experience!
What we will do
We will meet at the rafting centre in Piani Marini, in the province of Chieti. There we will meet the guides and be given thecomplete rafting equipment. Then we will have an introductory briefing on paddling techniques and safety rules and be ready to embark.
We will descend along the bed of the Aventino river, navigating its cool waters that flow from the slopes of Mount Porrara. Alternating between impetuous and calm stretches, we will discover an enchanting environment dominated by bright colours and lush nature.
We will also be able to disembark from the dinghy to dive into the pure waters of the river and get our fill of freshness and fun! At the end of the trip, we will be picked up by the rafting centre shuttle and taken back to the base. In total, the activity will last about 2.5 hours, including a good 1 hour in the water over a 5 km course.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open for ages 6 and up. No previous experience is required, only good water skills.
Other information
This activity can be carried out from June to September, weather permitting, and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for the safe conduct of the activity (in the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for you to conduct the activity. You can freely choose whether or not to accept these proposals. If you can’t retrieve it, we will process a full refund! If you have set the date for your Gift Voucher and bad weather did not allow the activity to take place, the Voucher remains regularly valid until the expiration date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
