Enjoy a fun activity in nature and challenge the current of the Sangro river on board a rafting dinghy. Our experienced instructors await you for an incredible aquatic adventure!
You will explore a fascinating environment immersed in Abruzzo's nature, amidst beautiful landscapes and dense vegetation.
Gather your group of friends, get ready for a river of adrenaline and enjoy an exciting and 'refreshing' experience!
What we will do
We’ll meet at the designated meeting point in Villa Scontrone (AQ), 30 minutes before the time specified when you booked.
Here we’ll meet the guides and be provided with all the equipment needed for rafting. We’ll then have an introductory briefing on paddling techniques and safety rules, before boarding the shuttle bus which will take us to the launch point in just a few minutes.
Once we’re on the rafts, we’ll begin our descent along the Sangro river, navigating its cool waters. Alternating between fast-flowing and calm stretches, we’ll discover an enchanting setting, dominated by vibrant colours and lush nature.
We’ll also be able to step off the raft to take a dip in the river’s clear waters and soak up the freshness and fun! At the end of the route, we’ll be picked up by the rafting centre’s shuttle and taken back to base, or, if we prefer, we can walk back along a path of about 400 metres.
In total, the activity will last around 1. 5 hours, covering a distance of 5 km.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is at an easy level and is open for ages 6 and up. No previous experience is required, only good water skills.

This activity is available from June to September and is confirmed when there are at least 4 participants.
Changing rooms are available at the meeting point. It is recommended to leave any personal belongings in the car: the rafting centre staff will be able to keep the keys for you.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
