Sometimes, you want to run away from it all and start from scratch!
But before you make drastic decisions, why don't you try turning your routine around? ! This stay in a mountain refuge with dinner and trekking in the Thuras Valley is a great opportunity to unplug and regain your energy! You can relax in nature, rest in a cosy room, eat homemade food and explore the area with a walk of about 8 km!

What we will do
The rendezvous is at Cesena Torinese (TO), where you will be welcomed by the activity organisers and taken to the mountain hut with a short walk.
After checking in (available from 15: 00) , you can take a look at the beautiful landscape surrounding the hut. In fact, the mountain hut stands on a flat green stretch, nestled between two 3, 000-metre mountain ridges towering over the Thuras Valley, right next to the Argentera Valley. There is also a restaurant inside the building, where you will have dinner included in your stay. The menu varies depending on the time of year and availability and features homemade dishes, including pasta and bread.
Then you will spend the night in a simple but cosy room, which recalls the mountain style and is equipped with a double bed (which can be separated if necessary) , a private en-suite bathroom, a balcony with a view, a desk, bed and bath linen and free Wi-Fi.
And after a good night's sleep, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast (included) with a choice of hot drinks and sweet baked goods. This will give you the energy you need to set off on a fantastic 4-hour trek, starting at 10: 00 am. This will be a pleasant 8 km walk in the nature of the area, with an altitude difference of about 600 m. Your guide will follow your pace and take you to the best viewpoints, from where you can admire Sestriere and the Susa Valley.
Finally, you will return to your starting point to retrieve your cars, regenerated from a 2-day getaway of relaxation, adventure and many delicacies!
Check-out is by 12 noon.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is intended for adults.
The facility and activity are not accessible to wheelchair users or those with walking difficulties.
The trek is suitable for everyone, including beginners.
Other information
The experience is available from June to September. Check-in will be possible from 15: 00 while check-out must be no later than 17: 00.
If you have food allergies and/or intolerances, please contact the organiser at the contact details you will receive after the booking confirmation to inform them in advance.
The trek is a private activity: there will therefore be no external participants. Moreover, the activity will take place on the day of check-out.
The meeting point cannot be reached by public transport , but free parking spaces are available on site.
Dogs are not allowed.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 48 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
